As you can see below, I took some photos of the Apple store opening I recently attended. I emailed a few of the mac news sites, and a few of those posted links to my humble photo gallery. I'd like to thank: MacNN.com, Appleturns.com, MacMinute.com, MacsOnly.com, YourDailymac.com, and the Italian site macitynet.it. Infopop.net hijacked one of my graphics without giving me photo credit. And maybe next time Macintouch and MacCentral will link to me...
Some interesting statistics for your viewing pleasure: the link was first posted on MacNN at about 10PM Sunday night. About 26 hours later, I had received about 110K hits, of which 28,000 were page views, that consumed 1.8 gig of data transfered to about 3800 visitors (proxies mess with this last number.) Busiest site times were Sunday night 10-12PM (EST), Monday morning (7-10AM EST) and again at about 4PM EST. I guess the West Coast people just weren't really that interested.
Most of you (45%) have an 800x600 monitor. Please upgrade and join the 35% of you who have a 1024x768 monitor :) Here's the odd thing, 91% of you have your browser window to at least 400 pixels tall, but only 47% of you (even those with big monitors) stretch that window open to at least 500 pixels tall. What's up with that? Now you know why almost all of my pictures are 400 pixels tall, they fit on your screen without needing to scroll. Damn this site gives such good customer service :)
